Holi Festival Of Colours

If you’re from the London area and are fortunate enough to be attending The Holi Festival Of Colours in Battersea this Saturday, believe me, you’re going to have the time of your life! I recently attended the Holi Festival in Berlin and, aside from the odd minute of being unable to breathe or see due to the mass of powder paint below the sky, it was definitely one of the best days of 2013 so far. Just make sure you wear old clothes and bring a pair of sunglasses to avoid becoming temporarily blind (no joke)!

&OtherStories Opens in Regent Street

& Other Stories

After reading about the opening of H&M’s new sister store in Regent Street, whilst visiting London yesterday I made sure I took a visit, and boy am I glad I did! The garments ooze minimalism, with personal favorites including chunky rings, structural bras, transparent brogues and cropped neon trousers.  Reminiscent of Zara, the collection primarily features plain, clean cut and high quality clothing, with many pieces made from good quality fabrics such as silk, Jacquard and linen.  Designer collaborations for the Spring/Summer season include The Lake and Stars, Clare Vivier, Alyson Fox and Abigail Lorick. The store also offers a large selection of beauty products.  Prices are reasonable, with various items ranging from £30 – 50 and others between £60 – 200.  If you’re in London anytime soon, be sure to take a look! If not, visit the online store at www.stories.com.  Xx
